MapRA Singing GroupNext term starts 7pm Tuesday 24th April 2012 at Emmanuel church (see below for location). All welcome. Join any Tuesday. The group now has it's own website: http://www.sing-for-fun-in-fortune-green.webeden.co.uk/ Our singing group (called "singing for fun") was started in 2008 by Jenny Thomas and Maggie Chambers with around 12 people. Now we get up to 60 'singers' (plus others occasionally) and have taken part in several singing events / concerts. Our excellent singing teacher is Alyson Denza, a professional soprano who can out-sing all 60 of us when she tries! We charge £4 per session or £3 per session for whole term of 13 weeks. We welcome more members. Any abilities welcome, the only prerequisite is enthusiasm. We meet at Emmanuel Church (on the corner of Lyncroft Gardens and Fortune Green Road in West Hampstead, entrance through the far back corner) on Tuesdays from 7pm to 8.30pm to sing for fun.
