We welcome comments; see contacts page News / Current Events The MapRA AGM last Wednesday went well with around 200 members attending; and great support from speakers and council officers at stalls; more MapRA survey. A petition with 3,600 signatures, requesting Brent Council to "Stop, Listen and Reflect" on their plans for the redevelopment of Willesden Library was presented to the Council's Executive on Monday April 23. The new pop-up shops at Queens Parade, on the corner of Walm and Willesden Lanes, have been officially opened with speeches by some of the people who made the development possible; more and picture. Youtube Video of launch. Follow up meeting Tuesday 1st may 6.30-8.00pm
Mapesbury Community First Panel. Mapesbury Ward has received funding from the Community Development Foundation. The grants are between £250 to £2500, and need to be matched funded by the group receiving the grant. For full details please go to the Community First webpage:
